Lindsay's Gourmet Compound Butters - Featured Products


Imagine a dish you would enjoy with butter and savory flavours. Now imagine how easy it would be for you to prepare your dish simply by adding a pat of one of these buttery compounds! All of our products are handmade from 100% pure butter with 80% milk fat for the best flavour and texture.


BEARNAISE : unsalted butter, tarragon, shallots, lemon juice, sea salt

  Pairing  Suggestion: Ideal for topping meat, poultry, fish and seafood. Mix with your vegetables. Excellent on steak or salmon. Tastes like a bearnaise sauce. I make my mussels with this flavour too.  


BLUE CHEESE-CHIVE : unsalted butter, blue cheese, chives, sea salt

  Pairing Suggestion: Perfect for topping a steak, burger or baked potato. Delicious with mushrooms, green vegetables and on a crostini. Enhance your omelet with flavour. For an easy appetizer, stuff mushrooms, top with bread crumbs and bake.


ROASTED GARLIC : unsalted butter, roasted garlic with hint of olive oil, sea salt, black pepper  

Pairing Suggestions: Top or mix with dishes you would enjoy with creamy butter and the mild flavour of roasted garlic. An omelette, roasted chicken, mashed potatoes or peas to name only a few. Great on crusty bread. I like my chicken wings roasted with this flavour. Top my popcorn too.  


THYME HERB : unsalted butter, thyme, shallots, garlic, parsley, lemon juice and zest, paprika, sea salt, black pepper

  Pairing Suggestion:  A versatile flavour. Top, rub or stuff your meats and poultry - even burgers. Mix with vegetables, pastas and grains. This flavour is wonderful in scrambled eggs or a frittata.  

Parmesan Reggiano-Garlic
Parmesan Reggiano-Garlic : unsalted butter, parmesan reggiano cheese, garlic, sea salt, black pepper

Pairing Suggestions: Excellent on a toasted baguette. Mix into pasta for an alfredo tasting experience. Top your veggies or your favourite piece of chicken. Adds delicious flavour to your mashed potatoes too!

Holiday Herb
Holiday Herb : unsalted butter, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, sea salt, pepper

I found that preparing all those herbs that add so much flavour to our dishes takes a lot of time, so I thought I'd prep them in advance, mix them with the necessary butter, and freeze it for the time I need them in a pinch.

Pairing Suggestions:

I use this butter packed with flavour in several ways...
*baste my turkey or chicken, and when I have the time, I'll put it under the skin too
*perfect base for classic dressing/stuffing
*makes delicious biscuits
*for those times when I don't have enough drippings to make the gravy, and I add packaged sauce - I mix in a pat of this buttery goodness to take the flavour up a notch
*mix with your favourite vegetables and potatoes
*oh, so good in my leftover sandwich!!!!
